Fish Art...Ty Hallock

I first heard about Ty Hallock from Scott Hunter of Vedavoo. While fishing with Ty, he was able to talk art after seeing some of Ty's painted Cliff Boxes. Scott had peaked my interest so I checked out Ty's page, TyOutdoors.com, and was BLOWN AWAY. I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of his art before.

His portfolio is unbelievably broad too, from Roosterfish to Brown Trout, and Dorado to big game (elk, deer, etc). He's known for drawing on Cliff Boxes and YETI Coolers on top of his four different series of paintings. All of it, amazing, and reasonably priced for the outstanding quality.

The 12 Days of Christmas started big and today marks the last day of this event which is ending big as well.  I hope everyone has enjoyed it and the response has been well over twice what it was last year which has kind of blown my mind.

TFM's 12 Days of Christmas

This is just a heads up that Monday, December 10th begins the craziness that is the T.F.M. 12 Days of Christmas gear giveaways.  Again this year I am astounded by the industry support and have eighteen sponsors who have offered up some exceptional gear to give away over the course of the next couple weeks.

ACF: 'Packed for Wyoming'

Tomorrow starts a trip that I have been losing sleep over since I put it on the books...Wyoming to stalk brown trout on small water.  It is the kind of fishing that is right up my alley.  I somehow have to make it through work tomorrow and then will be hitting the road.  By Friday I will be outside of Buffalo Wyoming fishing out of Rock Creek Anglers.  The boxes above are a little something I tied up for the trip over the last couple weeks, though I am sure I will be picking up some local go to flies as well!  The bags are packed, camera charged up, and gear ready to roll.  Should have some killer photos and stories by the time I get back next Wednesday.
