Sending you guys slab submission and hoping it makes the cut for March slabs :)

Caught this guy on March 9th here in Calgary. Fished for him from a high bank with a brown, yellow and pink bunny leech - was shocked at his size when he came from the depths and chased my fly. This was my first fish of 2013 and the biggest / hardest fighting pike I have caught to date. A great way to start the season off.

The Road to the Final Fish

The rainbow trout beat the bonefish to be crowned champion in Cheeky Fly Fishing'sversion of March Madness. 4,000 votes were cast, over a thousand dollars was raised for worthy causes, and over 50+% of the voters have never angled for bonefish.
