Daily Reel...AFF Summer Camp At McKenzie River Lodge

Via AFF:

We had the good fortune of opening the fishing season with the guides from McKenzie River Lodge. It did not disappoint! Lake trout, landlocked salmon, massive brook trout, and pike; small streams, wider rivers, and lakes; long days, short nights, and plenty of fishing hours. This video only captures a fraction of the epic enjoyment!

Sunday Double Reel...'The Bank - Ep. 10B - "The Invitation: Spidey Senses"'

Via jensenflyfishing.com:

This is PART 2 of our time with Mark & Adam of Oldman Outfitters Guide Co in southern Alberta. We got lucky on the drone shots in Part 1, and as the day wore on, something just seemed imminent. Something interesting, unique, wonderful always happens every day you're on the water with a fly rod or camera in your hands and this was no different. My spidey-senses wouldn't leave me alone and as we drift and came down the bank to find a wondrous back water, I knew we had to stop. Here's why.

Daily Reel...'The Bank - Ep. 10 - "Bow River - The Invitation"'

We were invited to join Mark & Adam, brothers who own Oldman Outfitters Guide Co in southern Alberta. We've been trying to fish with them for a couple of seasons and we finally co-ordinated schedules. The winter, spring, and early summer in Alberta (2016) have been hot, sunny, and dry - all the way up to the day before we got together! As fates had it, the weather tanked on us and massive cells and heavy winds welcomed us. This marks our first flight on the water with our new drone and represents what we hope to include in future videos - a strong sense of place and location about the fishing. We got lucky with the fish capture on film on this flight!

YETI Presents: COSMO

The Seychelles are an angler’s paradise – if you can actually get to them. This chain of remote islands sits about as far into the middle of nowhere as you can get. But once you arrive, the fishing is on. Follow the crew of the Alphonse Fishing Company as they wade the flats of the Cosmoledo Atoll, hoping for a shot at Giant Trevally.

Albiefest 2016

Only two slots available, book now!

Cheeky Endorsed Guide Matt Reinemo is hosting the first ever Albiefest 2016 trip this fall on Nantucket
September on Nantucket means one thing ... false albacore. Catching these torpedos is one of the most exhilarating pursuits the Northeast has to offer... and no there's no better place than the beautiful island of Nantucket. A favorite of fly and light tackle anglers for their ferocious eats and marathon runs into backing, albies spend September crashing through baitballs at speeds over 30mph and wrecking havoc throughout the jetties, inlets and open water of Nantucket. That's exactly why Cheeky Endorsed Guide and Nantucket resident Matt Reinemo has put together the first-ever Albiefest 2016, a 3-day destination fishing trip to the beautiful Massachusetts island in search of tuna. This is one trip you won't want to miss.
Albiefest 2016 is an inclusive trip that includes 3 full days of world-class false albacore fishing hosted by Cheeky Endorsed Guides Matt Reinemo and Mike Schuster, lodging, food and an official Albiefest Captains Bag. There will be two trip options this year: September 17th-20th, or September 20th-24th. Spots are very limited, so make sure to reserve yours today. To learn more about Abliefest 2016 and reserve your spot, visit the official Albiefest 2016 Page, or call Matt at 508.221.4272.
Go catch some tuna!
