Renowned Angler Jack Dennis Announced as Special Guest at the 11th Annual 2-Fly Tournament

Veterans, volunteers, and celebrities from across the country will gather at Rose River Farm in Syria, Virginia on April 29 – 30, 2017 for the 11th Annual 2-Fly Tournament benefiting Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc (PHWFF) and the thousands of disabled veterans the organization serves each year.  Now entering it’s second decade as the flagship fundraiser for PHWFF, the 2-Fly Tournament has provided vital support for this top-tier Veterans Service Organization and served to raise awareness for it’s remarkable contributions towards the recovery and rehabilitation of those who have made great sacrifices in the service of our nation.  Joining PHWFF for the weekend will be numerous special guests and we’re pleased to announce that renowned angler Jack Dennis will among them!
fb_img_1492388766827Jack opened his first fly-fishing business at age 19 in Jackson, Wyoming and became so renowned for his angling skills that his client list grew to include sports figures, movies stars and key political figures. Jack has appeared in numerous TV shows, produced DVDs, and written two of the best known fly-fishing books in the world; Western Trout Fly Tying Manual, Volumes I and II have have sold over 400,000 copies. Participants will enjoy learning tying tips and techniques by tying along with Dennis, the patterns that he has developed through his vast fly-fishing experience.   As a Veteran himself, Jack is now devoted to sharing his knowledge and skills with participants in our Programs.

For a over a decade Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF)  has focused on healing those who serve.  It is through the tremendous contributions of our volunteers and supporters nationwide that last year we served over 7500 deserving members of our armed services.   The 11th Annual 2-Fly Tournament will serve to raise funds to provide veterans with the support they need on their journeys to recovery as we continue in our second decade of service.  Learn more
