Your line is your direct contact to the fish. It's probably more important than your rod and reel for that reason. Go take an inventory of what your lines look like. It's possible you're seeing some wear and tear from use, lack of cleaning, or sun damage. Instead of breaking the bank on a new $100 line, come over to Risen Fly and get those old lines replaced, or even better grab a new Ichthus or Anakim reel and fill it up with line.
