We first hear about Missouri Flies through the gentlemen at Indigo Guide Service/Third Coast Fly. Missouri Flies ties some amazing flies, some of the best we've seen all week and again are proven thanks to the guys up in Beaver Island. Missouri ties flies for almost all applications but specializes in carp flies.
The winner of today's DD Fly Giveaway will win a dozen hand-tied flies that make up the Ultimate Carp 12 Pack (see below) on the Missouri Flies site that will be sent in a brand new SLIM Fly Box from Risen Fly.
But wait, there's more! Today's winner will also win a super legit prize pack from TLTFF's great friend, a member of Project Healing Water's Fly Fishing and is also known as The Fly Fishing Contultant, Rob Snowhite. Rob is responsible for putting the TLTFF Crew on our first carp on the fly down at the C&O Canal and knows more about carp spots in the DC area than anyone I know. Rob operates an amazing podcast that we've been privileged enough to be on among other names like Tom Rosenbauer, Brad Bonham, and more. Rob sent us a bunch of gear from his company Dragonfly Fishing including a baseball-style tee, handmade lanyard, can-yard (for holding your brew on the stream...amazing idea) some flies that work really well for warmwater species hand-tied by Rob himself and a rad hat.
