So I fished two different freshwater ponds yesterday and saw probably close to 25 bass with not a single tight line...When I was about to call the quits, I spotted what looked like a log in the middle of the pond. Then there was a second one. Not logs, sunning carp, big ones, probably over the 20lb mark. I tossed every possible carp fly I had at them realizing my carp box was back at the house. I ran down the street, grabbed the box, ran back, carp gone. I'll have another shot at Buck List #17 today. Wish me luck.
