Jose Wejebe died Friday afternoon when the single-engine plane he was piloting crashed in a field near Everglades City.
Marshall Cutchin at MidCurrent, who guided the same waters with Wejebe long before he became a fishing personality, said Wejebe loved fish and fishing as much as anyone he has ever met.
